Meeting our new cousin Braelyn

My cousin Scott and his wife, Mary Kate, had a baby girl named Braelyn Ann 3 weeks ago. We got to meet her this weekend at Granny's house. She is so tiny compared to Evan, but she is actually about the same size Evan was at that age. We only stayed a few hours, but it was nice to see her, as well as my Granny of course.



Evan also got to meet the cows, he wasn't too impressed, but liked the ride on Daddy's shoulders

Evan in the snow

We had snow today! Evan wasn't really sure what it was or what to do with and didn't particularly like how cold it was and that we made him wear his snow suit like Randy from a Christmas Story...He humored us long enough to take a couple of pictures though...

"My bum is cold, and these gloves wont let me put this white stuff in my mouth."

Evan has a tooth!

Evan's first tooth is popping up! My dad first found it when Evan took a big bite of his finger, and there was something sharp there. After further investigation, sure enough...a tooth. I've heard teething isn't a fun process, so I hope this will be easy for him. Once it's in a little further, I'll post a picture.

Shake it up Evan!

Dylan has made a new video of Evan's recent activities. He still LOVES his Jumperoo, he's sitting up like a big boy (most of the time), he reaches for things that go straight for his mouth, and he is eating baby food. Enjoy.

This Monkey does NOT like Bananas

Evan tried bananas today and HATED them. I tried them with and without some cereal mixed in and he wouldn't even swallow...he just gagged on them until it ran out of his mouth. I'm glad I grabbed my phone to shoot some video...I only feel slightly guilty about laughing while he is so terribly unhappy. Makes me smile just thinking about it. No more bananas Evan, I promise.

Dylan taught Evan how to turn the pages of his book today. He studies each page so closely and then is on to the next one.

Yummy Pears

We have moved from just the cereal (which he hates) to baby food! He had pears today and liked them better than the cereal, but still isn't real sure what to do with it once its in his mouth. Its fun trying out new foods with him. Next on the menu will be bananas, carrots, and peas..yummy :)
