As if I needed yet another reminder, our lives are so different now with Evan here. We had to be reminded that yesterday was New Year's Eve, and we had no intention at all of staying up until midnight. I also discovered I have great hostility towards people who set off fireworks in neighborhoods. Evan goes to bed by 7 every night, and that's about when the neighborhood kids started up with setting theirs off...the worst came from midnight until 1am. Poor Evan had a tough night last night, which meant tough night for Mommy and Daddy too. I'm officially an old grouchy lady who wants "them kids" to be quiet.
